Muchas veces realizo una sesión de fotos de recién nacido, esta vez quiero mostraros una sesión de nacimiento, es la primera vez que realizo una sesión como esta y es que este tipo de reportajes es muy novedoso aquí en España, en otros países si que se hacen. Me siento privilegiado de haber hecho esta sesión de nacimiento y poder contarla con mis fotografías.

Hace 3 semanas Pamela me comentó que le gustaría hacer un reportaje de nacimiento en el hospital cuando naciera su hija Claudia. Pamela es fotógrafa de bebés, así que imaginaros que ilusión que quisiera contar conmigo en un momento tan íntimo y especial como este, la llegada de su hija.

El nacimiento de un hijo es un momento irrepetible donde el dolor deja paso a la emoción y el cariño hacia esa personita que acaba de llegar. Quiero dar las gracias a los papás, Pamela y David por contar conmigo para un momento tan especial y único y agradecer a todos los trabajadores del hospital, ginecólogo, matrona, sanitarios, a todos, muchas gracias por ponérmelo tan fácil y dejarme realizar la sesión de fotos de nacimiento de Claudia.

Many times I do a newborn photo shoot. This time I want to show you a birth session. It’s the first time I do one like this because this kind of photographic report is very uncommon and innovative here, in Spain, but it’s trendy in other countries. I feel really lucky to have done this birth session and to be able to tell this story through my photographs.

Three weeks ago Pamela asked me to do a birth session at the hospital during the birth of her child, Claudia. Pamela is a baby photographer and you can imagine how excited I was when she invited me to be part of such a personal and special moment like this, Claudia’s arrival.

The birth of a child is once in a lifetime moment where pain gives way to emotion and love for that little person who have just arrived. I want to thank mom and dad, Pamela and David, for counting on me at such a special and incomparable moment, and I would like to express my gratitude to the hospital staff, the gynecologist, the midwife, the nurses and the assistants, to all of them thanks again to make easier my job and allow me to do Claudia’s birth session.
